The Mediterranean Diet

The Mediterranean Diet Pyramid is based on the diet patterns of the ancient residents of the countries having borders with the Mediterranean Sea.

The logic for the adoption of that particular cooking style and menu is the fact that the people of that area were having strikingly low heart diseases and were generally healthy.

The have divided their dietary intake into groups. Grains, vegetables, fruits, juices, cereals, seeds and olive oil are in a group of daily use. White meat , poultry, seafood and eggs should be used often atleast twice a week. Dairy products i.e. milk, cheeses , and yogurt are in the group to use in moderation. Red meat, sweets, butter, potato should be use in low quantities. 

Nutrition experts who advocates this diet also suggested to have good workout and fair use of water with it. 

The practitioners of the diet are claimed to be less prone to heart disease, cancer and Alzheimer

Natural Remedy for Indigestion and Acid Reflux



Acid reflux is one of the common occurring problem for people living fast paced lives. Its so much frequent that people use over the counter medication to cure the problem.

The symptoms of acid reflux or Gastroesophageal reflux are heartburn, feeling of stuck food behind breast bone, sometimes hiccups and even sour throat. The causes of this problem are smoking, alcohol abuse, obesity and sometimes pregnancy. 

I don't say those antacids don't work but there are several natural remedies one can choose to use in order to cure the acidity and indigestion. If infants or toddlers feel the heartburn it is also advisable not to use those medication without doctor's prescription. Same goes for pregnant women.  

You need to make the remedy before the problem. Take 250 mm of lemon juice and 250 gms of fennel seeds. Drench the seeds in to the juice. Left it in shade until all the juice either soaked or evaporated. Now put the seeds into meson jars and they are ready to use.

After every meal you can chew a spoonful of seeds and it will most likely to prevent heartburn and also avert bad breath.

Someone said that  "The Worst Part About Being Strong Is That No One Ever Asks If You're Okay". 

Yes this is one of the disadvantage of being the strong is that people would think you as invincible and after the hardship ends people don't really understand the trauma mental or physical the strongest standing man would have bear.

This emotional setback could result into bitterness so in order to avoid this situation we need to offer our gratitude and emotional support to all the people around us whether strong or otherwise.
